Badly Written, Incoherent Mess

I received a copy of Chapter 6 for a seminar in "Race and Equity", and it was one of the worst written pieces of dreck that I've ever read. High school level of incoherency. It was generally describing racial inequality through a Marxist lens and threw about terms such as "cultural hegemony", "oppression", etc. I generally associate poor writing with poor thinking, and I'm not sure which causes the other.
I'm not sure it's fair to rate a book on one chapter, but the editor clearly set a low bar for including material in this book.
