Good ITIL study guide, available in Kindle edition

I like it. Very thoughtful and comprehensive presentation of subject matter that is easy to follow and understand. I initially thought that some of the analogies' and scenarios were a little hokey, but came to appreciate how they depicted ITIL in a different perspective, relevant to the real world.
It was refreshing to see that this study guide delves into the creation and development of IT service management while taking a very detailed approach to all the aspects of ITIL foundations. Definitely not just another "how to pass" regurgitation.
That said, the only heartburn I have is that there is no table of contents in the study guide, just a "start" prompt. It would be helpful to be able to see and select the different sections at will rather than blindly paging up/down or using Ctrl F to find and review the material.
Overall, a very good study guide that will make a useful addition to my reference library, and the eLearning component (which I will download shortly) will be a great advantage in passing the ITIL foundations exam.

I'm new to ITIL but have extensive Program Management experience and education. It was a pleasant surprise when I found out that I could access a complete multimedia course on the information contained in this book. Also, I received a certificate of completion---that added to the WoW factor. Just know there is kind of, sort of, a bit of a standardized way of presenting the material in the book. It would have been nice if all major subjects in the books (e.g. the 5 frameworks and their processes) would have been presented in a standardized way (e.g. Input, Process, Output). In fact, a Work Breakdown Structure of ITIL would have been nice---then each dendrite node could be contained in a WBS dictionary---then the activities to produce the nodes addressed. The logical presentation of the material in the book is good---it could be better.
